About this game

Look at this Viennese pastry shop window, seen from the street, at the moment a ray of sunlight breaks through the stormy clouds. On the weathered wooden counter, a brass scale rests beside jars where amber fruit jellies gleam. Two yellow quinces, one of them cut, rest on a linen cloth with an embroidered edge. In the background, the sea-green tiles catch the slanting light, while outside the cobblestones shine in the rain.

Someone just left the shop a minute ago: the scale is still swinging, a little sugar lies scattered on the wood, and the lady in the long dark dress already seems to be walking away toward the sidewalk. What was she buying this morning? Perhaps a few quince paste pieces for afternoon tea, carefully wrapped.

To find the hidden letters, follow the grain of the wood, the folds of the cloth, and the grout lines between the tiles: some letters are lying down or tilted, others blend into the background color.
