Spot the difference games online: find what changed between the two pictures

Two pictures that look exactly alike… but not quite. Your task is to spot what has changed: an object that has vanished, a different colour, something added or moved. Our spot the difference games (also known as “find the 7 errors” or “find the differences” puzzles) are free, played online in your browser with no download and no sign-up, on a computer, tablet or phone.

How to play spot the difference

Compare the two pictures, then tap or click each difference you find, on either picture. A difference you find is circled; a click in the wrong place costs you nothing. In our games there are not always seven differences: the number to find is shown under the picture, and some scenes hide many more. The game ends when you have found them all.

A magnifier and a hint if you get stuck

A hint shows you where to look: you get one at the start, then one more every 1 min 30. If the search drags on, a magnifier unlocks so you can enlarge the picture and see small details better. You can also switch to full screen. When only one difference is left, a little cheer helps you finish!

Three tips for finding the differences

Scan the pictures zone by zone instead of all at once, compare the shapes and colours that stand out first, then the small objects: differences often hide where you look least. Eyes get tired, so a short break helps you see what you were missing.
