About this game

A scent of damp leaves and fresh earth rises from the hillside, and the low evening light slides in from the left, just above the hills. Between the rows, the vine leaves turn carmine and russet, with very distinct veins, while a few purple asters still cling to the base of the lichen-covered stones. In the foreground, orange squashes rest in the dry grass, and on a worn wooden stake, a black crow watches, motionless.

In the distance, the steep roofs of the half-timbered houses fade into a light mist that lingers at the bottom of the valley. Higher up, the remains of an old stone wall recall that these terraces were worked by hand for generations. One can imagine the winegrower who brought in the last grapes and left the squashes at the edge of the rows, at the hour when the cold begins to rise.

To play better, take your time: the hidden letters are concealed in the lines of the scenery, the stripes of the stakes, branches, leaf veins and folds of the grass. Some are lying down, tilted or the color of the soil, and you must clearly distinguish the N from the Z, then the M from the W. The magnifying glass and zoom help a great deal in the dark areas. This observation game requires patience.
