About this game

Low late-afternoon light slides across the logs and brings out every relief. At the center, a window framed in flaking cream plaster, dotted with pebbles, watches over three terracotta pots where red geraniums stand out against the wood.

The turquoise shutter, worn down to a pale trace, and the clumps of orange lichen staining the planks tell the age of this hotel built in the early 20th century. Around it, the dry-stone wall, the ivy, and the wrought-iron railing complete the scene.

To play better, follow the grain of the wood: the letters blend into the lines of the logs, the knots and the cracks. Some are lying down or tilted, others share the color of the background.
