About this game

A scent of sun-warmed stone rises from the alley, and bees hum around the pink hydrangeas. At the end of the cobblestones stands a granite house with a slate roof, its windows decorated with red geraniums. Summer light catches the grains of the stone and the pale lichens covering the walls. To the right, a massive wall pierced by a low door seems to guard the silence of the village.

The contrast between the gray of the stone, the green of the bushes, and touches of pink gives the scene a peaceful softness. A wooden chair waits near the arched door, and a small chalkboard sign set at the edge of the path hints at a tempting stop for a treat. Everything invites you to stroll slowly.

To play well, take your time: the hidden letters often slip into the lines of the scenery, the streaks of the stones, the branches, and the joints of the pavement. Some are lying down, tilted, or the same shade as the background, and you must carefully tell the N from the Z, and the M from the W. The magnifying glass and zoom will help you resolve any doubt.
