About this game

Golden late-afternoon light slides across the gray planks of an old boathouse, whose rusted corrugated-iron roof gently sags. Through the half-open door, a small pale boat can be seen resting on the mud, while in the foreground, moss-covered rocks, grasses heavy with seed, and small pale wild roses form a lush scene, where every ivy leaf seems to have been painted with patience.

It is easy to imagine the fishermen of the Vilaine in the early 1960s bringing their boat in after a morning shower, the air still damp and heavy with the smells of earth and reeds. The silence is broken only by the lapping of water against the bank.
