About this game

Look closely at the counter loaded with croissants, muffins, and round pastries, then follow the morning light coming in through the large bay window. The warm wooden floor, red bricks, and jars of jam lined up on the shelves give this bakery-café a welcoming feel. In the back, a reader enjoys her coffee with a laptop open in front of her, while a child sits on the floor drawing with headphones on, and scattered bags and sneakers tell the story of the place.

For this spot-the-difference game, compare the two images zone by zone, starting with the counter, then the tables in the back and the edges of the floor. Notice the colors of the clothing, the objects that seem to disappear or change size, and the patterns on the aprons and shelves. This observation game is best enjoyed slowly, and it is free online, with no sign-up required.

Your turn to play: click on each difference you spot, with hints and zoom available if you need them.
