Play hidden object and spot the detail games online for free
A hidden object game is a big picture full of details and a list of objects to find. Here, every scene has its own atmosphere: the attic of an old house, a watchmaker's workshop, a Christmas market in the snow, a fisherman's hut at dawn. The objects slip between the shelves, blend into the colors of the scenery or hide behind a curtain. It's up to you to track them down.
Two ways to play are waiting for you on this page: classic hidden objects, with a list of objects to find in the scene, and spot the detail games, where a small piece of the picture is shown and you have to find where it hides. The “Classic” and “Spot the detail” buttons at the top of the game list let you show just one kind.
Four objects at a time, at your own pace
The game shows four objects to look for, with their name and a small picture. As soon as you find one, another takes its place. No countdown: take time to observe, zoom in to search the corners, and save your hints for the trickiest objects.
Spot the detail: another way to play
In a spot the detail game (also called a hidden details game), there are no names to read: the game shows four small pieces of the picture, and you have to find the exact spot where each one hides in the big scene. Click it: if you're right, it lights up and a new detail takes its place, until the very last one. No words to know, just shapes, colors and textures to compare: an observation game for kids and adults alike. Zoom and hints work just like in hidden objects.
A little tip to go faster
Scan the picture area by area rather than all at once, and keep an eye out for objects that are turned, lying down or half hidden. A shadow, a reflection or a color that doesn't match the scenery often gives the hiding place away. For spot the detail games, first pick out the most striking color or shape in the piece, look for it in the scene, then compare the textures.
All our hidden object games are free, with no download or sign-up, and start right in your browser. New scenes are added regularly: the most recent ones are at the top of the page.
Frequently asked questions
How do I play hidden objects?
Look at the scene, spot one of the requested objects and click it. Four objects are shown at a time; each object you find is immediately replaced by a new one, until all are found.
How do I play spot the detail?
The game shows four small pieces of the picture at a time. Find where each one hides in the big scene and click it: every detail you find is replaced by a new one, until the last.
What is the difference between hidden objects and spot the detail?
In hidden objects, you look for objects from their name and small picture. In spot the detail, you look for a piece of the picture with no name: you compare shapes and colors. Both are played on this page; the “Classic” and “Spot the detail” buttons show just one kind.
Are the hidden object games free?
Yes, all games are free, with no sign-up and no download: they start right in your browser.
Can I play on a phone or tablet?
Yes. The "Play" button opens the game full screen. On a phone, turn the device to get the largest possible picture, and use the magnifier for small objects.
What can I do when I'm stuck?
Use a hint: two are available at the start, then one more every two minutes. Zooming and scanning the picture area by area also helps.
Is there a time limit?
No. Your time is measured so you can beat your record, but there is no countdown.
Is a hidden object game the same as a seek and find?
Yes, they are two names for the same kind of game: a picture to explore to find specific objects.
Does the site keep my scores?
Your history (games played, best time) is kept in your browser, on the "My games" page. No account is needed.
Are the hidden object games in English?
Yes, all our hidden object games are in English: instructions, buttons, texts and the names of the items to find.
